What they've said about us
“My family and I spent four days at BlackRiver this past week. Everything was fantastic. All of the cottages have recently been renovated from the ground up. Inside, all of the little details have been thought of and it made this such a wonderful home away from home for a few days. The hospitality from both Heather (the owner) and Dries was fantastic. Our kids especially enjoyed the pool, zipline, canoes and large playground as well as our bonfires. It is a short drive to Sandbanks provincial park and beaches, which were beautiful. We can't wait to go back next summer (hopefully with some friends next time).”Heather MortimerVisited on Aug 12, 2015
“Very fun family vacation ! We stayed in Cabin #8 and not only was it very clean and modern it was just perfect for our stay. We are a family of 4 and spend most of time outside either swimming, canoeing and kayaking or just enjoys playing games. The fires are night were a highlight and we would definitely go again. Thanks for having such a nice resort so close to wine country ! ”Aaron HarlowVisited on Aug 17, 2015
“We spent 5 glorious days at the BlackRiver Lakeside Resort. The quiet beauty of the river and Lake Ontario is simply amazing. We kayaked every morning on the river. The cabin was well appointed and super clean. The staff was so helpful--answering our questions about what to do in the area and providing everything we needed. We enjoyed our stay immensely and looking forward to returning.”Flo RubinsonVisited on Aug 18, 2015
